1. Current market conditions

The domestic PVC market price fell slightly, and the mainstream brand market price fell by 60 yuan/ton. The domestic PVC market atmosphere remained flat, the spot market price remained weak and stable, and the intraday price fluctuated slightly, and the market mainly sought low transactions; the fundamental market supply was sufficient, and downstream small and medium-sized enterprises began to take holidays one after another. The export price remained low, and the market fluctuated weakly; the cost support continued to weaken, the pressure of gross profit loss in the industrial chain was slightly reduced, and the bottom support of the market was temporarily weak.

2. Future forecast: There is no expectation of improvement in the fundamentals of the PVC market. After the New Year, the comprehensive cost loss pressure of upstream production enterprises has been slightly reduced, the price of caustic soda has rebounded firmly, the price of calcium carbide raw materials has fallen, and the companies have not shown a significant trend of reducing production due to cost pressure, and the market supply remains high; coupled with the weak support on the cost side and the weak bottom, without the support of favorable policy news on the market, the PVC spot market continues to fluctuate in a weak range.
